Hello,
I've been trying out DScaler as I'm hoping to find an alternative to the god-awful WinTV7 application that comes with my Hauppauge HVR-900H TV Tuner.

I run Windows 7 64-bit, and DScaler version 4.1.15 (says compiled Dec 18 2005.. old?). I have CCCP, which includes ffdshow.

When I start it up, with the TV Tuner selected as the device, I get the error in green text on the screen:

ERROR: Can't load Hardware Driver, possibly caused by corrupt installation. Reboot and try again.

I know the driver for the card basically works fine, as I can watch TV with it in both WinTV7 and Windows Media Center. I've been able to tune most of the channels on my analogue cable network (I forgot how I did it, though), but around 50% are missing. When I try to tune to a frequency I know should work (on PAL-B), it just displays nothing. I live in Denmark, so there's no preset for channel scanning.

Any help would be appreciated.
